No, CUTOPT runs entirely in the browser. You only need a modern web browser and an internet connection.
Your project data is stored locally in your browser. Optionally, you can choose a folder on your computer or network.
Features
The cut width is the width of the saw blade. This is considered in the optimization to get exact results.
Yes, CUTOPT supports miter cuts. The effective length is automatically calculated based on the angle and bar width.
You can record existing remnants. CUTOPT considers these in the optimization and uses them preferentially to save new bars.
Yes, with the Premium version you can define multiple stock lengths. CUTOPT automatically chooses the optimal combination.
With more than 2 stock lengths, all possible combinations are tested by default to find the optimal result. For faster calculations, you can enable the "Quick calculation (reduced)" option - then only the 2 best lengths are used.
License & Support
The free version allows up to 6 positions, 30 cuts and 1 stock length. The PDF export contains a watermark.
